SELECT (COMPETITIVE)

ABOUT

Select soccer is for competitive players ages 10 and older who are ready for a higher level of training and match play. The annual fee for the 2026–2027 seasonal year is $1,300 and includes both Fall and Spring seasons. All players must attend tryouts to be considered for a team.



TRYOUTS

All players must register prior to attending tryouts. Tryout details and registration links are posted on our Register page in late April or early May. If you miss the official tryout dates, you can email info@leanderfc.com to request a makeup or offseason tryout.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2026–27 season opens in mid-May after tryouts.

Season Timeline

• Fall: Late August – early November
• Spring: Mid/late February – mid-May
• High School Teams: Begin after spring break

Once Selected

• Receive team invite + registration link
• Complete registration and first payment
• Order uniform (through coach/manager)

Payment plans are available. Uniforms are purchased separately.



PRACTICES & GAMES

Practices

• 2x per week (Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu)
• 90 minutes
• Location: Serna Fields

Games

• Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Travel required (primarily within the Austin area)



UNIFORMS

Estimated cost: ~$300

Required Kit Includes

• 2 Game Jerseys (Green & White)
• 2 Practice Shirts (Gray)
• Shorts (Home, Away, Practice)
• Socks (Game + Practice)
• Leander FC Backpack

Uniforms are ordered through your team manager. The 2026–2027 season will use the same kits as the 2025–2026 season, as Select uniforms are updated on a two-year cycle.
